This was all just a tiny bit bizarre. Tony pushed the jeans off of his really very round hips and stepped out of them, towards Steve. "Ridiculous. I'll send you something better." This whole thing felt like some weird respit in a war. Coming back after a battle to a tent to re confirm that everyone was indeed alive.
And he sort of needed that. He needed to know that he was breathing, that he could still feel.
And he really needed Steve not to see that he was wearing Captain America underwear.
