He shook his head, staggering backward, "You don't understand."
The Captain didn't know what to do right now. He couldn't get out anymore than his Guide could get in and he was relatively sure that the man was in danger because he hesitated, because he couldn't complete his mission. What if Hydra was coming for him? For them?
"I don't... I don't remember," he said, which was sort of a lie, he remembered but it was all a mess and it wasn't in order. Steve dropped to his knees with his hands still on his temples.
